No, it’s not supposed to be this way. Not ever. The philosophers will ponder the meaning, but at the end of the day, you’re both planting one foot in front of the other, holding the fabric of your lives together, and returning to that thing called “work”…. What you did, what you experienced, knowing the extreme depths of emotion : that is work. Loving Liam was the easy part. 🙂 It’s not fair, either. for sure. Jan
