It’s strange how everything that we will do now is for the second time with Ezra. This past year has been one full of the highest of highs, and sprinkled with the lowest of lows. Personally, I am surprised at the emotion that has come with looking and thinking back at the last year…I suppose that’s nostalgia – even if for the short period of time. Ahna and I have done our very best to make sure that we are cherishing every moment, every cry, every smile, every new step; but it all still seems to be flying by. Ezra has become an amazing boy – so much fun to have around…we can’t wait to see what the next 12 months hold!

It is amazing to see how fast you have grown up, Ezra! Thanks for taking those few steps to me at the shower last week. It was exhillirating to see you walking towards me, and even more so to remember that just a short year ago, I got to hold you before you even could figure out you weren’t swimming anymore.
